William Luther

Assistant Professor of Economics, Kenyon College

Will Luther is currently an Assistant Professor of Economics at Kenyon College. He received his PhD in Economics from George Mason University. Originally from Ohio, William graduated summa cum laude from Capital University in 2008, earning a B.A. in Economics.  He has been a fellow with the American Institute for Economic Research. His academic interests include monetary theory and history. At present, his research is centered on the monetary regime of Somalia following state collapse in 1991. He hopes to promote sound economic policy and a greater appreciation for liberty through teaching and academic research. In his free time, William enjoys riding motorcycles, hiking, and camping.
