Dissertation Fellowship Program Requirements
Mercatus Center Dissertation Fellows are required to:
- Actively participate in the weekly Graduate Student Paper Workshop
- Actively participate in the weekly Workshop in Philosophy, Politics and Economics
- Participate in the annual Career Development and Teaching workshops
- Submit a current bio and resume to Academic & Student Programs each quarter and as requested
Mercatus Center Dissertation Fellows are expected to:
- Present at least one chapter of their dissertation in the Graduate Student Paper Workshop each semester
- Present quality original research at professional academic conferences
- Submit quality original research to professional academic journals
- Participate in Mercatus Center Academic & Student Programs colloquia, workshops and seminars
Mercatus Center Dissertation Fellows are encouraged to:
- Build relationships with Mercatus Center Academic & Student Programs Visiting Scholars
- Build relationships with Mercatus Center scholars and members of our faculty network
- Attend Mercatus Center brown bags and occasional lectures
