Hugo Drochon

Hugo Drochon is a former visiting fellow with the Mercatus Center's Program on Pluralism and Civil Exchange. He is Assistant Professor of Political Theory at the University of Nottingham, where he specialises in the history of political thought, democratic theory, liberalism and conspiracy theories.

At the Mercatus he worked on the notion of ‘centrism’ from the American and French Revolutions to today.

Professor Drochon completed his Ph.D. at the University of Cambridge and is the author of Nietzsche’s Great Politics, one of CHOICE’s ‘Outstanding Academic Titles’ of 2017.
