Brian Kogelmann
Brian Kogelmann is an assistant professor in the Department of Philosophy at the University of Maryland, where he is also a faculty affiliate at the Ed Snider Center for Enterprise and Markets. Brian’s research focuses on political philosophy, particularly contemporary approaches to social contract theory and contractarianism. He earned his BA in philosophy and political science from the University of Illinois, Chicago. Brian was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2014-2015, 2015-2016, and 2016-2017 academic years and has also received a Bernard Marcus Fellowship from the Institute for Humane Studies.
