Rena Salayeva

Rena Salayeva is a Post Doctoral Research Associate at the Claremont Institute for Economic Policy Studies. She earned her PhD in political science at Claremont Graduate University. Her primary interests concern Russian elections and budgetary policies in the post-Soviet era. She has completed the Counter-Terrorism Fellowship Program with distinction from the National Defense University and holds an MA in international studies from Claremont Graduate University, an MA in international public law, with highest honors, from Baku State University, and a BA in international law and international affairs, with highest honors, from Baku State University. Rena was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2016-2017 academic year.
