Raj Patel

Raj Patel is a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. He is interested in the relationship between social science and public policy, and his research focuses specifically on how social science currently informs public policy under democratic governance and how social scientific information is mediated in the policy process. He earned an MPhil in history and philosophy of science from the University of Cambridge, an MA in public policy from George Washington University, and a BA in philosophy and public affairs at George Washington University. Ray was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2016-2017 academic year.
