Valentina Ausserladscheider is a PhD student in sociology at the University of Cambridge. Her research interests include the rise of economic nationalism in the European Union. Valentina earned an MPhil in modern society and global transformations from the University of Cambridge, an MS in economy, risk and society from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in sociology from the University of Innsbruck. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2017-2018 academic year.
