Telma Yamou is a PhD student in agri-environmental economics at the University of Kent. Her research interests include applying statistical and econometric methods to agricultural, environmental, and health policy, with particular emphasis on the impact of the oil and gas industry on Nigerian fisheries. Telma earned an MS in agricultural economics from the University of Reading, and a BS in agricultural economics from the University of Buea. She was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
