Talia Amatulli is a PhD student in political science at the University of Toronto. Her research interests include comparison of the writings of Jean-Jacques Rousseau and Adam Smith, specifically their perspectives on how commercial society affects citizens’ relations with one another, the ability to acquire and maintain wealth, individual well-being, and how the causal nexus composed of these factors tends to function. Talia earned an MA in political science from Boston College, an MA in liberal arts from St. John’s College and a BA in philosophy and music from Sarah Lawrence College.
