Susanne Mueller-Redwood

Susanne Mueller-Redwood is a PhD student in political science at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Her research interests include how interest groups bargain over economic policy in the weakly institutionalized settings of dictatorships and the extent to which trade policy outcomes vary across these states. She is also interested in the impact of trade liberalization on the survival of authoritarian leaders. Susanne was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2015-2016 academic year. She earned an MA in international relations from the University of Chicago, an MA in philosophy from the University of Toronto, and a BA in philosophy from King’s College London.
