Stephen Zimmer is a PhD student in economics at George Mason University and an economist at the Bureau of Labor Statistics. He earned his BS in economics and political science from Florida State University. His research interests include development, institutional analysis, Austrian economics, and public choice economics, with applications to education and innovation. Previously, he was a Program Coordinator on the Academic & Student Programs team at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University.
