Shanna Phillips is a PhD student in political economics at the University of California, Irvine. Her research interests include the relationship between global production networks and patterns of conflict and cooperation, in particular, U.S.- China relations and the role of domestic political economies on international political economies. Shanna earned an MA and a BA in economics from the University of California, Irivine. She was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
