Semuhi Sinanoglu is a PhD student in political science at the University of Toronto. His research interests include the political economy of authoritarianism, particularly how state-business relations affect the durability of autocratic regimes as well as how polarization reproduces authoritarian preferences. Semuhi earned an MA in international relations from Koc University and a BA in international relations from Boğaziçi University.
