Sarah Wilford

PhD Student, King's College London

Sarah Wilford is a PhD student in politics at King’s College London. Her research interests include the political thought of Alexis de Tocqueville, the political significance of North American travelogues in the 19th century, and the role of women and family in the development of institutions that protect democratic conditions. Sarah earned an MA in history of political thought and intellectual history from the University of London and an MA in medieval studies from the University of St. Andrews. Sarah was an Adam Smith fellow during the 2015-2016, 2016-2017, and 2017-2018 academic years.
