Sadaf Dastan is an MA student in international affairs at The George Washington University. Her research interests include international relations and peace and conflict studies, with particular emphasis on the role government corruption plays in the lack of media freedom in Iran and Hungary. Sadaf earned a BS in conflict analysis and resolution from George Mason University. She was a Mercatus Center Joseph Schumpeter fellow during the 2018-19 academic year and a Don Lavoie fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
