Rory Schacter

PhD Student, Harvard University

Rory Schacter is a PhD student in government at Harvard University. His research examines the development of ideas about the role of free association, commercial freedom and individual dynamism as counterbalances to the threat of political despotism. Rory earned an MA in government from Harvard University, an MA in religious studies from The Hebrew University, and a BA in political science and classical Greek and Jewish studies from the University of Toronto. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2015-2016 academic year.
