Rok Novak

PhD Student, Texas Tech University

Rok Novak is a PhD student in economics at Texas Tech University. He was formerly an MA student in philosophy, politics, and economics at the CEVRO Institute in Prague with specializations in Austrian economics and behavioral policy making. He is also the program director of Institute Libertas, a fellow at the Institute for Research in Economic and Fiscal Issues, and since 2014 writes a regular column for Časnik Finance, the central business daily in Slovenia. He earned a BA in English from the University of LjubIjana. Rok's research interests include comparative institutional analysis, the economic effects of entry barriers, public choice, and behavioral economics. He was a Mercatus Center Frederic Bastiat fellow.
