Rebecca Maria Mari is a PhD student in economic geography at the London School of Economics & Political Science. Her research interests include public finance, macroeconomics, and local economic development theories, with particular emphasis on the fiscal, physical, and social constraints of economic growth. Rebecca earned an MS in economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BS in economics from Bocconi University. She was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
