Raisa Gomez-Lowe is a PhD student in economics at Clark University. Her research interests include the effects of educational reform on the livelihood of women, particularly education’s impact on teen pregnancy, school completion, and women’s marriage and childbearing decisions in Trinidad and Tobago. Raisa earned an MS in economics and a BS in economics & management studies from The University of the West Indies. She was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
