Nils Sonnenberg is a PhD student in economics at Leipzig University. His research interests include the economic order in which financial cycles emerge, particularly applications of market process economics and the analysis of the political economy with respect to regulatory, monetary and fiscal rescue measures. Nils earned an MSc and a BSc in economics from the University of Münster. He was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
