Molly Sinderbrand

Postdoctoral Fellow, The Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania

Molly Sinderbrand is a postdoctoral fellow at the The Center for High Impact Philanthropy at the University of Pennsylvania. She also earned her PhD in philosophy at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research combines metaethical theory, empirical economics, and psychological research to create a theory of promising, explaining what promises are and why we tend to keep them. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2015-2016 academic year. Molly earned an MA in philosophy from Linköping University and a BA in philosophy from Washington University-St. Louis.
