Mobarak Hossain is a D.Phil. student in social policy at the University of Oxford. His research interests focus on education reforms in developing countries and their effects on different social classes, particularly the achievement gap between advantaged and disadvantaged students. Mobarak earned a Master in international development from Sciences Po Paris, an MRes in urban policy from the University of Glasgow, and an MSS and BSS in public administration from the University of Dhaka. He was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
