Mario Juarez Garcia is a Ph.D. student in philosophy at the University of Arizona. His areas of specialization are ethics and political and social philosophy. His research interests include the social and moral effects of political corruption and the phenomenon of nationalism as it relates to culture, politics, and economics. Mario earned an MA in social sciences from Écoles des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (EHESS) in Paris and a BA in philosophy from the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM). He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, and 2018-2019 academic years.
