Krystal-Gayle O’Neill is a PhD candidate in global governance & human security at the University of Massachusetts, Boston. Her research centers on the decriminalization of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ) sexualities in the Anglophone Caribbean. Krystal-Gayle earned an MA in conflict resolution from UMass Boston, an M.Phil. in social sciences from Wesleyan University, an MSc in college student affairs & conflict resolution from Nova Southeastern University and a BEd from The University of Technology, Jamaica. She was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
