Kishen Shastry is a PhD student in economics at the University of Cambridge. His research interests include the exploration of religious organizations as political intermediaries between the state and the constituents, with a particular focus on the impact of religious networks on the provisioning of public goods. Kishen earned an M.Phil. in economics from the University of Cambridge, an MA in economics from The Graduate Institute Geneva and a BTech in computer engineering from the National Institute of Technology Karnataka.
