Kelsey Herndon

Amazonia Regional Science Associate, NASA SERVIR Science Coordination Office

Kelsey Herndon is an Amazonia Regional Science associate at the NASA SERVIR Science Coordination Office. She has an MS in atmospheric and Earth system science from the University of Alabama, Huntsville, and has worked as a graduate research assistant at NASA SERVIR-West Africa. She earned an MA in anthropology from the University of Alabama and a BA in anthropology from Auburn University. Her research interests include natural resource management, open access technology, the role of science in developing effective policy, Austrian economics, behavioral economics, environmental and energy policy, experimental economics, institutional analysis, public choice theory, public policy, regulatory analysis, and technology policy. She was a Mercatus Center Frederic Bastiat fellow.
