Kelly Goodman is a PhD student in history at Yale University. Her research interests include grassroots political history, centering political contestation and coaltions to follow organized teachers, businesses, and farmers in America who pursued fiscal strategies in courts and legislatures and through ballot initiatives and constitutional conventions from the 1930s into the 1970s. Kelly earned a BA in political science, economics, and history from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
