Katie Wright is a PhD student in sustainability at the Arizona State University. Her research interests include topics in applied microeconomics, law and economics, public choice, and environment and energy policy. In particular, she studies the effect property rights have on incentives, specifically when applied to resources. She explores the effect of defining property rights for natural resources and how that can mitigate wasteful behavior. Katie earned a BA in economics from Hillsdale College. She was a Mercatus Center Oskar Morgenstern Fellow during the 2019-2020 and 2020-2021 academic years.
