Katherine Robiadek is an assistant professor of political science and the director of Martha E. Church Center for Civic Engagement at Hood College. Her research examines the role of imagination in the political epistemology of early modern egalitarian political theorists, including Machiavelli, Hobbes, and Spinoza. Robiadek earned a PhD and an MA in political science from University of Wisconsin-Madison, and a BA in political theory and constitutional democracy from Michigan State University’s James Madison College of Public Affairs. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2019-20 academic year.
