Karl Grindal is a PhD student in public policy at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Previously Karl earned an MA in public policy at Georgetown University and his BA in government at Wesleyan University. His research interests include information communications, technology policy, cyber security, incentives associated with internet infrastructure, institutional analysis, public policy, and technology policy. Karl was a Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat Fellow during the 2017-2018 academic year.
