Junpeng Li

China Public Policy Postdoctoral Fellow, Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government

Junpeng Li is a China public policy postdoctoral fellow at the Ash Center for Democratic Governance and Innovation at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government. He earned his PhD in sociology at Columbia University. He is also a member of the editorial board of  "Studies in Ethnicity and Nationalism," a member of the board of directors for the Tianwen United Institute, and a co-founder of the Cultural Revolution Museum. Junpeng was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2014-2015 academic year. His research interests focus on the formation of liberal political orientations among public intellectuals in China. Junpeng earned his MPhil in sociology from Columbia University and earned his BS in economics from Beijing Forestry University. He has been a Humane Studies fellow at The Institute for Humane Studies.
