Joris Gjata

Postdoctoral Associate, Program in Environmental Design at the University of Colorado-Boulder

Joris Ghata is a postdoctoral associate for the Program in Environmental Design at the University of Colorado-Boulder. She earned her PhD in sociology at the University of Virginia. Her research on new forms of regulation and institutional change is motivated by the ways and processes that make economic and social policies sustainable, not driven by crisis, transitory pressures in uncertain times, and special interests. She holds an MSc in international political economy, with distinction, from the London School of Economics and Political Science, as well as a BSc in international relations from the Middle East Technical University. Joris was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2016-2017 academic year.
