Jonathan Moreno Medina is a PhD student in economics at Duke University and a Mercatus Visiting Dissertation Fellow. His research interests include understanding the role of informal institutions, such as religion, on economically relevant outcomes. Jonathan earned an MS in economics from the Université Catholique de Louvain and a BA in economics from the National University of Colombia.  He was a Mercatus Oskar Morgenstern fellow during the 2018-2019 academic year.
