JP Phares is a PhD student in supply chain management at the University of Arkansas. His research interests are at the intersection of policy and supply chain management, specifically the impact of policy and regulation on the form and function of the supply chain as well as the supply chain orientation of managers and firms. His research focuses on government mandates and the market effect on truck driver labor, and the effects of interventions in the beer supply chain. JP earned an MBA from Pennsylvania State University and a BS in business administration from The Ohio State University.
