John Taden is a PhD student in public policy & political economy at The University of Texas at Dallas. His research interests include the political economy of natural resources, interest group competition, liberalization, institutions, taxation, and religion. His dissertation traces the effects of natural resource curses on domestic interest groups and political competition. John earned an MBA from Texas A&M University, Commerce and a BSc in urban planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology.
