Joseph Porter is a PhD student in philosophy at the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His research interests include the political economy of culture, and in particular, the interrelationship between social norms and political and economic institutions. Joseph earned an MTS in New Testament and early Christianity and an AB in philosophy from Harvard University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2019-2020 academic year.
