Joanna Rozpedowski is a PhD student in government & international affairs at Durham University. She specializes in international relations and political theory and her academic research interests focus on global governance mechanisms, state and human security, conflict displacement and migration, international humanitarian law, global constitutionalism and judicial accountability mechanisms for international crimes. She was a Fulbright Scholar at the University of Liverpool School of Law and Social Justice, where she earned an LL.M in international law with specialization in international human rights, as well as a visiting fellow at Oxford University. She also holds an MA and a BA in philosophy and political science from the University of South Florida.
