Jake Spinella is a PhD student in philosophy at the University of Illinois at Chicago. His research interests include the mechanisms of decision-making in individuals and groups, as well as methodological issues in the foundations of cognitive science and the social sciences. Jake earned an MA in philosophy from Georgia State University and a BA in philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
