Jaime Carini is a PhD student in musicology and organ performance and literature at Indiana University, Bloomington. Her research interests include the roles of innovation and entrepreneurialism in the organization of music enterprises and their implications for economic, artistic, and expressive freedom. Jaime earned an MM in musicology and an MM in organ performance from the University of Oklahoma as well as a BFA in piano performance from the University of Tulsa. She was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2017-2018 academic year and Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat fellow during the 2018-2019 academic year.
