Ivan Luzardo

PhD Student, London School of Economics and Political Science

Ivan Luzardo is a PhD student in economic history at the London School of Economics and Political Science. His research interests include how labor regulation creates frictions that ultimately increase the structural unemployment in an economy. Ivan earned an MA in economics from Georgetown University and a BA in economics from the Universidad del Norte. He was the recipient of a 2011-2012 IHS Humane Studies Fellowship. Ivan was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2017-2018 academic year.
