Georgy Kopshteyn is a PhD candidate in politics at King’s College London. His dissertation project engages with political ideas of contemporary populist movements in the European Union through the combination of political theory with empirical methods of text analysis. Georgy earned an MA in philosophy from Humboldt University of Berlin and a BA in philosophy & political science from the University of Göttingen. He was a Mercatus Center Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
