Florian Hartjen is a PhD student in political economy at King's College London. His research interests include the contractual interaction between migrants and human smugglers. Florian earned an MA in political economy from King's College London, an LLM from the University of Aberdeen and a BA in law, economics and social science from the University of Erfurt. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2018-2019 academic year.
