Erick Alfredo Ortega Rico

Erick A. Ortega Rico is a PhD/JD student in Law at the University of Vienna. He earned an LLM in Law and Economics from the University of Vienna, an LLM in Law and Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam, an LLM in Law and Economics from the University of Hamburg, a JD from Universidad Central de Venezuela, and a Bachelor of International Trade and a Bachelor of Custom Management from Universidad Simon Bolivar. He was an Adam Smith Fellow during the 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 academic years, and a Don Lavoie Fellow during the 2020-2021 academic year. His research interests include deterring Grand Corruption applying constitutional economics.
