Ned Frame is a PhD student in history and educational policy studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests include the history of higher education in the United States, particularly the relationship between liberal education, liberal democracy, and the idea of self-making. Ned earned an MA in liberal studies from The New School of Social Research and a BA in liberal arts from St. John's College. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow in the 2017-2018 academic year.
