Dmitry Ismagilov

Dmitry Ismagilov is a PhD student in political economy at King’s College London. His research interests include rural self-governing institutions, especially understanding why self-governing communities adopt a particular set of rules, and why that set may change over time. Dmitry earned an MA in political economy from King’s College London and a BA in political science from Lomonosov Moscow State University. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith Fellow during the 2019-2020 academic year and a Don Lavoie Fellow during the spring 2021 semester.
