Dmitry Ismagilov is a PhD student in political economy at King's College London. His research interests include institutional economics, historical political economy, and the political economy of development. His dissertation studies the political economy of communal agriculture in the Russian Empire during the period between the abolition of serfdom and the beginning of World War I. Dmitry earned an MA in political economy from King's College London and a BA in political science from Lomonosov Moscow State University.
