Daniel Gibbs is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Political Science at Washington University in St. Louis. His research interests include developing new formal models to study policymaking in legislatures and policy implementation by bureaucracies. Gibbs earned a PhD in political science from Princeton University, an MA in Russian and Eurasian studies from Harvard University, and a BA in economics, political science and Russian studies from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2015-16, 2016-17 and 2019-20 academic years and a Don Lavoie fellow in spring 2021.
