Daniel Barker Flores is a D.Phil student in politics at University of Oxford. His research interests include the challenges faced by unconsolidated democracies in the Global South, including security, violence, criminal governance, and clientelist exchanges. Daniel earned an MSc in Latin American studies and an MSc in politics research from University of Oxford and a BA in Spanish & Latin American studies from University College London.
