Charles Delmotte

Postdoctoral Fellow, Classical Liberal Institute at New York University

Charles Delmotte is a postdoctoral fellow at the Classical Liberal Institute at New York University. He earned his PhD in political and legal philosophy and served as a teaching assistant at the Law Faculty of Ghent University. He was a visiting researcher at the Center for the Philosophy of Freedom at the University of Arizona. His research scrutinizes tax policies on their constitutional permissibility. Charles holds masters in philosophy and in law, both with great honors, from Ghent University, and he is equally admitted at the Belgian bar as a practicing lawyer. Charles was a Mercatus Center Adam Smith fellow during the 2016-2017 and 2017-2018 academic years.
