Caitlin McGowan is a PhD student in government at Georgetown University. Her research interests include the extent to which the variance in how governance bodies are organized may steer investment priorities of public pension systems and impact behavior within the broader financial market. Caitlin earned a JD from Syracuse University College of Law and a BA in American studies from Cornell University. She was a Mercatus Center Frédéric Bastiat fellow.
