Brett Bertucio is a PhD student in educational policy studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research interests include examining how assumptions regarding the role of religious civil associations in public life were inscribed in mid-twentieth centruy Religion Clause jurisprudence, were captured in the concurrent advent of high school "law elective" curricula, and are reflected in contemporary civics education. Brett earned an MEd from the University of Notre Dame and a BA in theology and economics from Boston College.
